Fork Oil Fill Level

PostAuthor: brock29609 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 8:22 pm

Regarding '95 XV1100...

I know the fork oil capacity is 12.6 US oz or 372 cubic cm. But, what's the fill level as measured from the top of the compressed forks? I'm concerned that I overfilled my forks and I want to double check by measuring my air gap.

I don't see this in either the factory or Clymer manuals. Thanks!

Thanks. Is the Haynes manual available digitally online? I only see the factory and clymer manuals.
